Thread: How long do you have to wait to change a septum piercing at minimum?

I've had mine for almost a month and it's not quite fully healed yet but my piercing is in good shape.the jewerly just looks a little scratched and I heard that can lead to infection. How long at minimum do you have to wait to change a septum piercing?

Try to ask your professional piercer dear he/she will know what to do. I mean I would just leave it in and just continue the cleaning method until it is healed.I doubt you will get an infection because the jewelry is scratched.

A scratch on the jewelry wont hurt you unless a hunk came off and got into the wound. I would wait until week 8 minimum. Just watch it. You'll know when there's a problem IF there is one
