How can I make my own embossed wedding invitations?

I really want to make my own wedding invitations. I'd also like for the writing inside to be embossed. Can I do that with a Cricut or Cuttlebug machine or similar? Can anyone recommend a machine and perhaps give some pointers? Thanks!

No both of those machines are for die cutting, not embossing.

The only way to emboss the inside is to use a wet market (or a rubber stamp with the with the whole wording on it) then pour embossing powder on top of it and heat set it. I emboss a lot and this just isn't a good idea. Writing is too thin and small for the embossing to come out right. Dry embossing wouldn't work either. Wet or dry embossing is a time consuming process.

Years ago when I worked in the bridal business, real embossed words where very expensive to have on invitations.
even on the site below it doesn't look like the actual wording is embossed.
