Thread: How badly does a lip or nose piercing hurt?

I'm thinking about getting either the corner of my lip or the side of my nose pierced- How badly does it hurt?

on a scale of one to ten its a 9

does it really matter? if u have made up your mind about it just bite the bullet & have it done.

I didn't even feel when I got my lip pierced.
I love it, too.
I've heard nose hurts a little.
Lip = 0/10 (for me)
Nose = probably 3 or 4/10.
Get your lip done!

it depends on if you can take the pain...i did my nose myself and i put ice and i took 2 hours to get it to go through, its best if you get it proffessionally done its quicker and you'll only feel the pain for a couple of seconds but its way better than having a needle stuck half way through your nose trying to get it through yourself...after that it will be sore for a week or 2...

Ive had my lip done twice, and and now i have a nose ring. the nose hurt wayyy more than the lip. on a scale of 1 to 10 my lip was a 7 and the nose was a 9 atleast. The nose has harder and thicker cartiladge so its much more painful.

nose hurts bad like a 9 on a scale of 1-10

lip hurts like when you accidentally bite it so like a 3 or 4

Nose will sting, your eyes may water. Lip will feel like a pinch, but nothing too hardcore.
