Does anyone have any good marinades for rotisserie chicken?

I have a commercial rotisserie but every marinade I try ends up burning and does not flavor the chicken at all.
I have tried a chicken broth based marinade for about a day in the fridge. Still nothing, just burnt skin. *I cook for the recommended cook time.

How long are you letting the chicken marinate. I usually give mines 24hrs to get it seasoned right.

Stubbs makes a great chicken marinade....Just let is sit for hand full of hours. Stubbs can be found at just about every supermarket.

I have a rotisserie too, and it's much more "direct heat" than an oven. I just use a rub on mine - I find that the oils in most marinades burn too quickly. Try doing a dry herb and spice rub and see if that helps - it's also good to slip some of it under the skin!
