Thread: Can I take the popcorn seeds out of the bag(before cooking it) and cook it on stove instead?

I mean like the type of popcorn bag that you put in the microwave for like 3 minutes and all of it is popped and then you open the bag from the top.

Can you take the seeds from that bag and cook on the stove?

yes but make sure the saucepan has a lid on it,
what part of yes do you not understand,put uncooked pop corn into a saucepan ,turn up heat and it will soon start popping,easy

they are called kernels, not seeds and yes...go For it..pop them on the stove top...in a covered pot!! enjoy!!! ...is your microwave not working?

Yes. They probably won't all pop, as the kernels were developed for the m/w. But you'll have a decent quantitiy for a snack, sure.
