What is the statistical percentage of claims in a construction?

We are managing a 5-star hotel construction in Middle East (Bahrain), based on lump-sum contract of ~110 Million USD.
1- What may be the percentage of the claims (statistically) from the contractor side, by the end of the construction?
2- What may be the number of workers death (statistically) for this 34 storey, 55,000 sqm construction, planned to be finished in 30 months?

As a civil engineer I have to say your information is insufficient. As for the first question you have to read your local construction regulation as it differs depending on the regulation.

In the US from my experience and data, the cost of claims against the original contract tend tor range from 7 to 15% of the original estimate. It varies depending on the degree of definition at the start of the project and the experience of the estimator.

In the US, we would expect no deaths for a project of this size. The Middle East is another question.
