Thread: What are the circumstances of heat capacity?

For delta H = Cp(T2-T1), what circumstances must exist?
Other than the obvious constant pressure, does it have to be a reversible process? At equilibrium? Remain in the same phase? These are my thoughts, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
