Thread: What is the best glue available to glue rubber and steel?

I got some steel bars which I want to stick (glue) to a rubber belt. What is the best glue to be used in this case? I want it to stick really very very strongly.

i have seen belts on machines with steel glued on them. i think it is silicon. personally i would go down to a good hardware store and ask. don't go down to sears or home deopt. those jackasses down there can't help you. a good hardware store will know.
