How can you desellerate forces impacting on an assembled frame?

Please hurry, we have escavated our foundation trench, and have to have an answer before the concrete crew comes!!
Sharpie; I am thinking for this stationary object, a building, the best solution might be a device that absorbs and decellerates the impacting forces. I get what you're saying and like the logic, and when I design-build my next car bodyframe, I'll keep your answer in mind; Thanks.

Increase the friction leading up to the impact, this will slow it down resulting on leaser impact.,this can be done in different ways depending on whether the hitting object rolls, or is on water, air or if its just sliding.
