Thread: How can I make a burning laser pointer without my dad finding out?

I am 13 and I have wanted to make a burning laser pointer ever since I found out how to make one, but my dad told me he didn't want me to make one. I am trying to make the kind that use a x16 speed DVD laser burner diode. I was wondering if I could use anything else to make it. Thanks.

Not really. Anything else that you cold use would involve ordering it online or destroying something that costs a lot of money.
