Thread: What would be the best way to wipe my second digital camera to remove greasy stuff on it?

So my sister usually borrows my old digital camera since I have a brand new one and sometimes she takes it to her friend's house and they eat food and sticky stuff gets on it. I mean sticky and greasy stuff feeling. How do i remove it without damaging my old camera ?? I used to wet a tissue a little bit and wipe it but my mom says that will damage it. I mean she will get all the buttons sticky.

Your manual will give cleaning instructions. Follow them. My manual for my camera suggests using "a cloth lightly dampened in distilled water and dry thoroughly."
