What is the salary for a dish network installer?

What is the salary for a dish network installer? I have looked everywhere for an answer. I keep getting different stories. Some say it pays by the job and some say it's hourly. All I know is you would be responsible for the vehicle they provide you with and the equipment and to expect to drive alot with 45 plus hours a week. Does anyone have any input?

Installers are NOT hourly they are subcontractors and they get paid buy the job depends on area some are 75 to 100 most get less to start. Watch your tools and your wire.....
Problem is you have to be quick and that's the rub.

as an "in house" installer you can expect around $12 to $14 per hr to start. sub- contractors can make $60 to $100 per install but have to be fast and supply there own vehicle, insurance, gas and tools. independent retailers vary per region $10 to $20 per hr. there are plenty of horror stories out there for each type
