Thread: What cell phones do you recommend from Verizon with these qualities?

Okay, so my contract is up on my Samsung Glyde, and I get to get a new phone. I want to get my research done before I buy a new phone, so I was wondering what phones you would recommend? I want a touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard on it, so please suggest some phones that have those things? Thank you!

I have the Motorola Rival and i HIGHLY recommand it, ive dropped it many times and it hasnt blanked out on me at all. If something does happen and it cant work itll turn itself off and turn its self back on.. Other phones like the Env touch, i highly recomend DONT get it, i know many people who have it and say it sucks!

There haven't been a lot of details released yet, but the new Motorola phone is supposed to have those 2 features, nobody is sure if there are two motorola phone's that people are hearing about or if they're the same one. Either the Motorola Droid 2 or the Motorola Shadow have both features that you're looking for.

If you can wait until July, a lot more details should be getting released and you'll be able to make an informed choice so you don't have to worry about getting something now and then being upset when something better comes out in a month

The Samsung Reality would be the closest thing to the Glyde- very good phone so far, zero problems.. The EnV Touch has had quite a few problems, and the Rival ranks up there with the Glyde as 2 of the worst phones that Verizon has ever carried, but it's not even available anymore, so no worries.. The Droid 2 and Shadow (will be called the Xtreme) will be smartphones, so they would not be the same style as the Glyde
