Thread: What is the best camera for shooting in the dark?

I don't know much for cameras, but my camera doesn't tape anything dark, so is there a camcorder or camera that can make a video in the dark, also is there a add on that you can use to let it make videos in the dark. I tried to use a flashlight, but it only got where the circle of light is! so please help!

any ...you have to set it to dark snap shot mode.. its a setting on the camera dear. play with your camera and you should see a mode for night shots. I have a canon cybershot.

You could use a camera or camcorder that doesn't utilize an IR cut filter. The older Sony F-717's were great for this. The other thing that you will want to use is an infrared light, which can be made from IR LEDs or bought in a hobby store.

In this way, you can tape or make images in total darkness if you wanted to.
