Thread: How to get a standard electronic voicemail on an iPhone 4?

When I go to change the voicemail greeting on my iPhone, it only gives the option of recording my own greeting. You used to be able to just choose the standard electronic one, where the lady's voice just says leave a message or whatever. I have Verizon, by the way.

This is a VErizon issue and not an iphone issue.

Simply go to your Verizon voice mail and remove your answering message, then it will go to default.
