How can I get rid of all the podcasts/movies on my iTouch while leaving everything else intact?

I accidentally edited the information for a bunch of movies on my iTouch to Podcasts. Now I can no longer find the files in my iTunes however if I go to the search screen of my iTouch I can see them there. When I play them all I hear is the audio and a still frame from the movie. How can I fix this?

How did you edit the movie info on your iTouch? I have my iTouch open right now to the video selection screen, and I don't see how you can edit the movie info. You can only edit the movie info on your iTunes library.

In iTunes, if you changed the info from "movie" to "podcast" in the Options Tab in the "Get Info" screen, then all you need to do is go to your Podcasts library, select those movies that were accidentally changed, and select "Delete". There is no Movie selection in the "Media Kind" pull-down in the Podcasts Options Tab of the podcast "get info".

You'll have to re-add those movies to your movies library. If you had any movie poster art, it should bring it back when you re-add the movies.
