Have him put the songs onto blank CD-Rs and then just import the songs to your library.

To burn a Cd using iTunes just go to file and hit create new playlist. Then just title it and drag and drop the songs to the playlist from the iTunes library. Then just insert the blank Cd and burn the disc.
