I would like to order one of the internal wireless adapter. But can not get any info on the Dell website or tech support.

the usual builtin access point address is 192.168.1.1; when you are setting up, you need to change your PC's ip to the 192.168.1.x scope; otherwise if won't work as you will be in a different network subnet.

    Good luck!

Ignore the posts above , they misunderstod you , and think you have a router and try to set up .
1st thing 1st , an internal adapter is for desktops only , not laptops.
Search in google for " pci wireless network adapter" you dont have to buy it from dell ( unless your pc is under warrenty) in that case consult the documents that came with your pc to learn about upgrading while under warenty
