Thread: How do I open videos that I have imported onto my computer from my cameras memory card?

When I upload my pics the videos upload to, but under pictures and I cant view then. How do I open them? I am slightly computer challenged so please put it simply. Thanks.

Hi, it depends on what format your camera uses to record Video rather tha still images. If you double-click on one of the videos Windows will try to start it in a default application (probably Windows Media Player). If this gives you an error saying that the file type is not supported then you may need to Google for a suitable player for your video file types. Realplayer and Quicktime are suitable (and free) possibilities.

You should have a Software CD that came with the camera. use that software to download the videos. If you don't have the CD then Add Details and submit your camera brand and Type Number eg: Pentax En 1234, here and we can then search a site for you.
