Thread: How do I get my portable hard drive to work on other computers?

I have a Western Digital 1000G harddrive and it works great on my computer, but will only play the audio of videos and movies when I plug it into other computers. I tried syncing it with the other computers and it says it's synced. What could be wrong?

Well, you can't always trust Auto Play and synchronization software to move your files perfectly. I would just manually copy and paste the files, and access it manually, It would eliminate any errors and to many copies. I own a Western Digital, and I only use mine for back up
