Thread: How can I get my laptop to connect to the Internet?

Basicly I can't get my bt home hub to connect to my HP laptop. I know there is nothing wrong with the Internet connection itself because it works on my PC. It says on my laptop that the connection is working but when I try and open firefox or msn it doesnt work. I have tried resetting the home hub and the connection on the laptop but it didn't work.

Do you have a local area connection in your house, or near it?If you do, you can go to Best-Buy, or any other electronics store and buy a Wireless USB Adapter for the internet.I'm surprised your computer doesn't have one already in it.If you don't have a local area connection, you can buy one at any electronics store, and get it set up with Bellsouth or something.Maybe your PC is connecting off a neighbors local area connectino.Hope I helped :c)

check your drivers in laptop and make sure they are right
