The obvious choice would be a thermometer but I don't know what type would fit my specifications. I need to measure about half a cup of water and the range needs to be from no higher than 60 degrees Farenheit to no lower than 120 degrees farenheit.

Ask your friendly neighborhood science teacher if you can have one from the lab, and if you don't know a science teacher, you might try Sigma-Aldrich or Lab Depot to see if they have one that meets your specifications. You'll probably have to buy it though.
