Eat less. I skip breakfast and have a cup of Miso Soup everyday for Lunch and a full dinner. I save $5.00 for breakfast and $7.99 for lunch

I buy a prepacked Miso soup for 50 cents and all it needs is hot water

    $13.00 a day I save

Bring your own luch/sandwiches to work.

I was paying over £3.50 a day which didn't seem like a lot, but was costing me over £650 a year. Making my own lunch costs a fraction of that.

Ask yourself do I need this or just want it. Mostly just want, and I don't buy or delay purchase for another week or two. Checking what I actually have on hand eliminates buying too much, especially perishables which end up being thrown out. Grocery shopping now down from about 100 every week to roughly 30.
