So when an animal cell is placed in a hypertonic soluiton it is crenated? (not sure of the noun...)
Also what does it mean when it says "net movement"?

No. plant cells undergo plasmolysis because the cell membrane shrivels up and peels away from the cell wall - which cannot be reversed so the cell is pretty much destroyed.
With animal cells, it just shrivels, there isn't a cell wall so it cannot plasmolyse, it does not get destroyed.
Net Movement is OVERALL movement of water. so it means that water can go in and out constantly so there is constant movement, but if more water goes out of the cell compared to water going into the cell, net movement of water is out of the cell. if the same amount of water goes in and out of the cell e.g. in a isotonic solution, there is NO net movement of water because generally/overall the amount of water in and out of the cell stays the same
