How much energy is released once a phosphate bond is broken in an ATP molecule?

I have been told 7300 calories of energy for each ATP molecule but that doesn't seem possible. Could it be 7300 calories per mole?

The unit should be in J or KJ not calories. Per ATP MOLECULE when the bond to one phosphate is hydrolised 30.5J/mol of energy is released
    ATP + H2O ? ADP + Pi ?G? = ?30.5 kJ/mol (?7.3 kcal/mol)
