How common is having completely different patterns of lines on your palms?

My palms each have a totally different pattern of lines. The only other place I have ever seen this is on a roman statue in the Brussels archaeological museum (which, oddly enough, had very similar lines to my own), so I am a bit curious as to how many people have this trait.

Both finger and palm prints are the result of both genetics and nature. THe friction ridges (which are the lines you speak of) are linked both to volar pad location/size. These you can inherent. However this only influences the size/shape of the loops. The detials are governed by nature and the experiences you have as during early development. Assuming you where not burned or damaged the skin one hand it could the difference is a result how you developed as a fetus. My palms are also dissimiliar but I dont know if that is correlated to development or genetics. Although we are symetrical on the macroscopic level, it doesnt hold try on the microscopic level. So there might be adifference in volar pads between right and left hands. As for the statue, if the design is similiar perhaps its your great great.....grand parent!
