Thread: How do I wire my speakers on my new head unit?

I got a + and a - for eack speaker coming out of my unit, but only 1 connection coming out of my wiring harness for each speaker. How do I wire this?

easy way

do this:

get a vehicle specific wire harness for your car, you should have also received a wire harness with your head unit

what you do is splice the wires from the one that came with your head unit, and the one you purchased for your car.. splice those wires together that match

the one that is specific to your vehicle will be labled left front + left front - right front + left front - and so on.. in your manual it will show a diagram of the harness that attaches into the back of your deck and just match up the colors with what it says

the harness you bought for your vehicle will easily clip into the current harness that came stock in your car

this is the easy plug -n-play method
