I crashed my 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier and my signal light broke from the right side of the passengers side. How do i change it?
Not sure what you could mean, since we dont know if the actual fixture itself is broken, or just a bulb?
Eitherway, disconnect the battery for safety, the (+) charge, then open the hood and look down into the passenger side headlight, there should be 2~3 types of wiring coming out of the headlight (inside the engine bay) one is the Main beam, the other could be a parking light, then theres the signal light. The signal light is the larger cheaper looking bulb thats orangey colored, usually the bulbs connector that holds to the headlight twists out in some fashion, look to see if theres any small arrows printed on the back area near the lightbulb wires going in the light, usually they look like a arrow telling what way unlocks the light, Sometimes they are hard to get at, especially in small cars, and being hard to twist out is NORMAL, my cars fairly and you have put some muscle in to get those lights to untwist. Then the bulb will be the kind that you give a gentle twist to the bulb and it comes out. there you go.
if its the a broken fixture or damage wires, seek proffessional help for safety.
