Thread: Will spacetravel to other planets be around before the 22nd century?

What do you think? Will technolgy ever evolve to meet the requirements? Id love to leave this planet before i die. Wouldnt you?

YES. Obama has announced that NASA is making a launch vehicle powerful enough to carry a spacecraft which can travel to Mars. Check out Space Launch System and the Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle project. Manned missions to Mars are expected to start by the mid 2030s.
