What other observable effect besides the changing of the North Star would you expect precession to have?

Because precession changes the direction toward which Earth?s rotational axis is pointing in space, what other observable effect besides the changing of the North Star would you expect precession to have? (Hint: What have you already studied that is caused by the tilt of Earth?s rotational axis?)

    Would this be seasons?

It wouldn't actually change the seasons or the dates on which they occur (the calendar is designed to keep them on the same dates). However, there is a gradual change in the positions of the stars relative to the seasons so that after half a precessional period (13,000 years) winter stars would become summer stars and vice versa.

The celestial sphere changes steadily in right ascension, as measured from the location of the vernal equinox.
