Thread: What type of books are you interested in?

I am trying to find a theme for my book and I wanted to get everyones opinion on what type of books interest them.

I am trying to figure out what Genre I want to write, I am stuck on that. I always suck at thinking of a genre to write in. I love all of them and I have trouble choosing, I want peoples opinions to find out what genre reaches out to most people.

I enjoy books that have action, unexpected plot, romance, and strong characters.

Pickled Emerald is right--you need to decide what story *you* want to write. Writing in a specific genre will not magically make your story more popular. What matters is the story itself.

I like mostly science fiction and adventure books.
